George Ognell was a dedicated member of the Midhurst community who believed strongly in the power of charitable giving and community support. His vision was to create a lasting foundation that would continue to serve the community long after his passing.
Through his generous bequest, George Ognell's Charity was established to ensure that his values of compassion and service would continue to benefit the community he loved in West Sussex.
Making a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors
Through our emergency assistance program, we've helped over 150 families in Midhurst during times of crisis, providing essential support when they needed it most.
Our scholarship program has enabled 25 local students to pursue higher education, continuing George Ognell's belief in the power of education to transform lives.
